Pain and Hurt

A little bit of sorrow
A little bit of pain
A little bit of struggle
A little bit of rain.
A little bit of thunder
A little bit of rage
And a lot of wordless emotions
On an empty page.

A little bit of hurt
A little bit of fear
A little, little broken piece
Forces a little tear.
A little bit of courage
A little, brave smile
Whether broken or not,
I’ll walk all the miles.

The Cowardly Brave

Well, this is strange, isn’t it? The title contradicts itself. The title is such an oxymoron. How can there be a class of people among the brave who are cowardly? It doesn’t seem plausible. And yet, it is.

Suicides. What are suicides? Deaths that people bring upon themselves. Death is inevitable but in this case, it comes early and that’s because it is invited with open arms. Suicide is an act of cowardice or at least, that’s what the people left alive claim. But is it really so? Is it really so easy commit suicide that the weak-hearted can do it? No, I don’t think so. It takes a level of courage to accept that this is what you will do to yourself, that there will be death for you and it will hurt and you will be responsible for it. It takes courage to go and face that end out on your own. So many people are alive not because they want to be, not because they are happy, not because they have some hope to cling to but only because they are too scared to die. Most people are scared of that inevitable end. Sure, many are brave to keep wanting to live their life no matter what. But there are many brave enough to face that death. They may have been too cowardly to let life take its own turn but brave enough to meet their own end willingly.

Yes, they were too scared to live, but they were not afraid to die. We all know we will die someday but we are still scared of it. We all want to go to heaven but we don’t want to die. Weird.
